Raj Das Launches HiBOSS — A Peer-to-Peer, Hyperlocal Hiring App

Raj Das, the former co-founder and India CEO of Hirect, has launched his new venture HiBOSS, a peer-to-peer hyperlocal hiring marketplace app designed for fast and direct hiring.

What HiBOSS Does

HiBOSS connects employers and job seekers in the same locality through a mobile-first platform.
It is built for small and medium businesses, mid-level managers, franchise owners, and enterprise recruiters who struggle with long hiring cycles.
Candidates can connect with employers instantly, chat immediately, and complete interviews without paperwork or waiting.

Why It Matters

Most hiring platforms focus on large companies. However, a huge share of hiring in India still happens offline through referrals, posters, and WhatsApp groups.
These channels are often slow and unpredictable. HiBOSS aims to change that by offering instant, transparent, and friction-free hiring at the local level.
The app targets younger job seekers who prefer fast responses and digital communication.

Raj Das’ Vision

Raj Das stated that hiring should be simple and accessible for everyone.
He believes the combination of hyperlocal discovery and direct messaging can dramatically reduce hiring delays for both employers and job seekers.
HiBOSS plans to bring structure and trust to the informal hiring market while keeping speed at the core.

What’s Coming Next

HiBOSS will expand across Indian towns and cities in phases.
The company’s goal is to become the go-to platform for local and instant hiring across sectors, including retail, hospitality, logistics, healthcare, education, beauty, and field operations.
As adoption grows, HiBOSS aims to become a strong alternative to traditional job boards for India’s blue-collar and grey-collar workforce.
