Swiggy, India’s top food delivery platform, has launched DeskEats, a curated food delivery experience for working professionals.
The new service is now live in 30 Indian cities, including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Pune.
DeskEats is designed for office-goers and is available at over 7,000 tech parks, business hubs, and corporate centers.
Users can access it by typing “Office” or “Work” in the Swiggy app.
The service offers over 700,000 food items from a network of 200,000+ restaurants.
But what makes it unique is its themed food collections.
Tailored for the Office Hustle
From “Stress Munchies” to “Deadline Desserts” and “Healthy Nibbles”, each collection solves a typical workplace food need.
The “One-handed Grabbies” category features easy-to-eat snacks ideal for multitasking professionals.
“Sip-tastic Fuel” and “Teamwork Bites” are perfect for caffeine fixes and group orders.
Swiggy’s pilot study reveals emerging food habits at work.
Chicken Popcorn was the top pick in Bengaluru’s Stress Munchies category.
Fries led in Mumbai, while Garlic Breadsticks topped in Gurugram.
Salads were the favorite in the Healthy Nibbles category across cities.
The “One-handed Grabbies” section made up 30% of all DeskEats orders.
Among all cities, Mumbai recorded the highest adoption rate of DeskEats.
A Fresh Take on Food at Work
“Today’s corporate professionals are more time-strapped and choice-rich than ever,” said Deepak Maloo, Swiggy’s Vice President.
“With DeskEats, we’ve reimagined how food delivery fits into the modern workday,” he added.
“From a quick bite between meetings to a team celebration, DeskEats supports every office moment.”
Built on a Growing Corporate Strategy
Swiggy is building on the success of its Corporate Rewards program.
The program has reached 14,000+ organizations and 150,000+ employees in just three months.
It allows employers to offer perks like ₹225 off food delivery and up to ₹2,000 off Dineout bookings.
It also includes ₹100 discounts on Swiggy Instamart purchases.
With DeskEats, Swiggy is reshaping how India’s professionals eat at work—delivering speed, variety, and convenience.
It’s not just food delivery—it’s a workday essential.
