Startup Weekend India 2025 is a high-energy, 54-hour business-building bootcamp happening from August 16–18, 2025. Powered by Techstars, the event gives aspiring founders, developers, and creators a chance to build real startups over one intense weekend.
It will run simultaneously in Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi, and Chennai. Participants will pitch ideas, form teams, and build minimum viable products (MVPs) with expert guidance.

What to Expect
54-Hour Format
The weekend kicks off with open mic pitches on Friday. Teams then form and start working immediately. By Sunday, each group presents its startup idea to a panel of judges.
Real Startup Building
Instead of just learning theory, participants build products, validate markets, and get user feedback. In just three days, they experience the startup lifecycle.
Multi-City Momentum
The event runs in four cities at once, giving it a national reach. At the same time, each location keeps its unique local flavor and community.
Guidance from Mentors
Throughout the weekend, experts in product, marketing, and technology will mentor teams. They’ll also help refine business models and go-to-market strategies.
Final Pitch Night
On Sunday evening, teams showcase their ideas. Judges select winners based on innovation, execution, and market potential. Winning teams may get mentorship, funding access, or incubator opportunities.
